Band PA Hire & Live Sound Engineering

Professional PA sound systems, stage monitoring and lighting for live bands and performers. We deliver, set up and soundcheck the system, with experienced live sound engineering available throughout the performance.

Live Sound That Takes Care of the Details

Putting on a live band involves a lot more than putting speakers at the front of a stage. The PA needs to suit the room, the musicians need clear monitor mixes and the system needs to be properly set up before the first note is played.

That's where we come in. Soundtech PA Hire provides the equipment, gets everything in place, checks the system and can handle the live mix on the night. You can concentrate on the event and the performance rather than worrying about whether the sound is working properly.

Front of House Sound

PA systems matched to the size and requirements of the event, giving the audience clear vocals, instruments and balanced low end.

Stage Monitoring

Independent monitor mixes help performers hear what they need on stage without relying on the main audience mix.

Live Sound Engineering

For bookings requiring an engineer, the system is mixed throughout the performance so levels can be adjusted as the show develops.

Band PA Hire Packages

These two packages cover everything from smaller acoustic performances through to larger live band events. If your band, venue or event needs something different, the systems can be adapted around your requirements.

What Happens With Your Booking?

We handle the practical side of the production from getting the equipment to the venue through to the soundcheck. The exact arrangements depend on the event, venue and package, but the aim is simple: have the system ready before the band needs it.

Delivery & Setup

We transport the equipment to the venue, assemble the system and position the PA, monitors, microphones and lighting ready for the event.

Soundcheck

The system is checked and the band's inputs and monitor requirements are set up before the performance starts.

Live Mixing

Where engineering is included, your sound engineer remains involved during the performance and manages the front-of-house mix.

Lighting

Depending on the package, stage lighting can provide everything from straightforward colour wash to programmed moving-head and multi-effect lighting.

Safety & Reliability

Professional cabling, stands and equipment are used throughout. Public Liability Insurance and PAT safety certification records are available upon request.

Pack Down

Once the event is finished, the equipment can be dismantled and removed as part of the agreed hire arrangement.

Band PA Hire for Different Events

Every event is slightly different. A two-piece playing an evening reception doesn't need the same system as a five-piece rock band at a festival, which is why we offer different levels of production rather than trying to make one package fit everything.

Live Bands

PA, monitors, microphones and mixing suitable for bands performing in pubs, venues, private functions and larger events.

Corporate Events

Professional sound and stage presentation for company events, awards evenings, functions and entertainment.

Festivals & Outdoor Events

Larger PA and production systems for outdoor performances and events where audience coverage and stage monitoring are important.

Private Functions

Live music for parties, celebrations and other private events, with the system matched to the venue and expected audience.

Band PA Hire or Dry Hire?

If you already have someone who can run the sound system, our Dry PA Hire service may be the better option. The equipment is supplied for you to operate yourself.

If you'd rather have someone take care of the setup, soundcheck and live mix, Band PA Hire provides a more complete production service.

Choose Band PA Hire If...

You want the PA installed and soundchecked for you, need stage monitoring, require live sound engineering or want lighting and production included as part of the booking.

Choose Dry Hire If...

You have your own sound engineer or experienced operator and simply need professional PA equipment supplied for your event.
